Q. Why can't I access resources off campus with the VPN?
As part of the effort to support the campus community during the 2020 period of remote learning, ITS made significant upgrades to the infrastructure supporting off-campus connectivity. This includes expanding the capacity of the Virtual Private Network (VPN) solution from 120 users to over 8000 users. To achieve this scale, the system was modified so that only traffic to and from computers on campus is sent to campus. One side effect of this upgrade is that some in our community will need to update how they access library resources.
