Why can’t I check out or renew materials?

Answer

Possible reasons include:

Your books are more than 30 days overdue.
You've reached your max amount of automatic renewals.
- Students, Staff, & Faculty = 5 automatic renewals
- Members & Alumni = 3 automatic renewals
Another patron has requested an item you have checked out.
Your borrowed item is a Prospector or Interlibrary loan, and is not eligible for renewal.
