Q. I'm moving out of state, but still enrolled at Mines. How can I get access to the Library's resources?

Answer

The two ways for active students, faculty, and staff to access online resources from off-campus are:

  1. Use links from the Library Website or Library Catalog which include the Mines proxy prefix (https://mines.idm.oclc.org/login?url=) and simply login with your Mines Multipass

              Or

       2. Connect to OpenVPN first, and then connect to the online resource.

Just remember that Arthur Lakes Library must have the rights to a restricted site for you to access full text.  All of our subscribed or purchased resources can be found in our Library Catalog.

Our guide for Off Campus Access has explanations and links to CCIT pages.

("Ask a Librarian" tickets will get you reference and connectivity help when you move too. If you think you will need interlibrary loan services from us, you should check with Wendy Shortridge at the Library to see what's available.)
